Thank you, Laura, for a successful fiddle holiday. You’re a fantastic fiddler, teacher and host.Orla McGuinness
Laura is one of the best fiddle teachers I’ve met. I highly recommend her lessons. Lovely breakfast with homemade bread and cake, fruit, coffee and full use of kitchen.Sophie McIlwain
We were attending the Fleadh Cheoil in Ennis and Laura’s place was perfect for us as musicians. Her place is cosy, clean and comfortable. It is an easy drive to Ennis and is also central to The Burren, Cliffs of Moher and other places of interest. She is a warm welcoming host and great musician. We had the pleasure of sharing some tunes and Rosie had a fiddle lesson with her. She was a good resource for the local trad session scene.Rosie Carver and Michael Viens
Both of us had fiddle lessons from Laura and for my partner it was even his first lesson. Neither of us grew up in the Irish tradition (both Dutch), so the music is still quite new to us. However, Laura teaches by ear which makes it very accessible and she makes you feel very comfortable. She goes through the tune slowly and repeats any part of it that causes difficulty. Thanks to modern technology, she sends you home with a recording on your phone so that you can practice at your own pace at home. Laura also took us to several different trad sessions in County Clare, so we got to meet the other local musicians, which is very educational and we got to see the tradition fully alive!
I strongly recommend this unique combination of music and holiday to both people who enjoy music and want to taste the Irish tradition for the first time, as well as to advanced musicians from all over the world who want to immerse themselves in Irish trad!Melanie van Gemert
Very nice place, beautiful location and great landscape! A cozy and nice house, with a big garden to stay. Laura is really very welcoming, she is an artist and plays Irish music, very nice to talk with her! A great experience!Alessandra Scandella
