Online Lessons
Laura teaches fiddle online. Students take classes weekly or on a more occasional basis.
How does Laura teach?
Laura teaches by ear mostly, however she can also teach using notation.
Can classes be recorded?
Yes, samples from the classes can be recorded for a student’s continued learning. If needed Laura can make additional recordings of tunes or examples of technique given and send these to the student after the class.
What software is needed?
Laura uses Skype, Zoom and Google Meet programs – let her know your preference. She is happy to do a test call just before the first class to help set up sound and video.
How much does it cost?
Classes are €23 for 30 minutes, €33 for 45 minutes and €43 for an hour class. Discounts are available for a bundle of 4 classes or a term of 10 – see ‘Pay for Online Lessons’ below for details.
How do you book?
Select the class length and number of classes to book. Find an available slot on the calendar, fill out the text boxes below, and click ‘submit’. You will receive an automated email. Once a confirmation email has been received, payment can be made using the ‘Pay Now’ button. If you can’t find a suitable slot, contact Laura through the contact form and she will further check her availability.
What if you need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation is flexible, however please give a minimum of 24 hours notice, to give Laura time to reschedule. If you can’t give 24 hours notice, the rate will be taken for that class.
